Is Task.fm Free?
- Yes! You can upgrade to a pro account to get more features.
Can I receive SMS reminders in my country?
- Yes - we send sms reminders worldwide to pretty much all carriers.
How do I create a reminder?
- After logging in, simply enter your reminder text into the reminder box. Make sure you include a date and time as part of your reminder. for example "meeting with bob tomorrow at 6pm". Task.fm will automatically extract the event date and time
How do I create a reminder on Twitter?
- First you will need to sync your Twitter account with Task.fm on the settings page. You can then send a Direct Message to Task.fm. ie. d @taskfm meeting with bob in 2 days
How do I create a reminder with my Voice?
- Pro members can create reminders by calling a toll-free number (866) 584-7012 and leaving a reminder. It will automatically be transcribed and added to your account
How do I create a reminder via Email?
- Send an email to reminder@task.fm with your reminder in the body. You don't need to enter a subject (unless you have setup a "secret password")
What is a Phone Reminder
- We use a nifty text-to-speech engine to translate your reminder into voice. We will then phone you when you requested. These are great as wakeup calls, excuses to get out of meeting, to make you look like you have friends...oh and even reminders.
How do I create an sms reminder?
- Head on over to the settings page to change how you wish to be reminded. You can also edit individual reminders and change the message type (phone, email, sms)by clicking the "pencil" icon next to each reminder
Why isn't task.fm recognising my reminder?
- Although task.fm can recognize hundreds of different time and date formats, sometimes we can't correctly extract the date and time. If you can't get it to work, try the "advanced reminder" option to manually enter the date and time
What is semantic input mean?
- Semantic or Natural language input means that task.fm can recognize human speak. So instead of having to manually enter a date, time and event - like all other reminder apps - task.fm is smart enough to understand and process your language just like another human can
Does Task.fm only work in english?
- Good question! We haven't tested it in all languages but as dates and times usually are universal - it works alright in most languages. What won't is if you use words such as noon, midday etc. to describe a time (in another language)
Can I use phrases such as Tomorrow, Next Tuesday, Noon etc.
- Yes! Jump right in and try it out. If you come across a phrase we don't recognize, let us know and we will tune our scripts. Task.fm is constantly evolving to support more human speak.
